What sets Sqwincher products apart from other brands?

SQWINCHER Frequently Asked Questions - Pryme Australia

Sqwincher offers several advantages compared to other brands. Our products have a better taste, superior composition, a wide range of flavours, and advanced dispensing options. Sqwincher contains an optimal balance of electrolytes (lower sodium, higher potassium) and carbohydrates that consumers prefer. In addition to competitive pricing, we provide more efficient packaging and dispensing programs than our competitors. At Pryme, we are the official Australia and New Zealand distributor of Sqwincher and we pride ourselves on going beyond providing just a great product. We invest in our clients and end users by offering tools to keep them safe and informed about risks, hazards, and health in their environment. We provide training, assessments and much more.

What are electrolytes?

SQWINCHER Frequently Asked Questions - Pryme Australia

Electrolytes are essential minerals that your body needs for basic cell functions and overall well-being. They include sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Electrolytes are positively and negatively charged ions that maintain the connection and electrical current between cell membranes. They help regulate body fluids and maintain a healthy pH balance. Sodium and potassium are key to fluid balance, while calcium and magnesium are important for muscle function (contraction and relaxation).

Is Sqwincher an isotonic hydration drink?

Yes, some of the Sqwincher products (Sqweeze, Liquid Concentrate, Fast Packs) are formulated to be isotonic in their delivery of electrolytes. Isotonic refers to a solution that has the same osmotic pressure as bodily fluids, allowing for quick absorption and efficient hydration. It should be noted that Sqwincher Zero products like the Qwik Stik and Sqweeze Zero, have been designed solely for electrolyte replacement as a low-calorie option and are not formulated to be isotonic.

Where can I find the nutrition breakdown of each product?

The nutrition information for Sqwincher products can be found on the packaging itself. Detailed breakdowns of calories, carbohydrates, electrolytes, and other nutritional values are typically listed on the product labels. Additionally, you can visit the Pryme website, the official Sqwincher distributor in Australia and New Zealand, where you should be able to access comprehensive nutrition information for their range of products. Here is a quick reference, but please check the product packaging for additional nutritional information.

Should Sqwincher be used year-round or only in heat-intensive environments?

SQWINCHER Frequently Asked Questions - Pryme Australia

Sqwincher is made up of elements that naturally occur in the body. It scientifically restores and maintains proper electrolyte balance through fluids, contributing to internal body performance. Drinking Sqwincher is a preventive measure against the harmful effects of dehydration caused by various factors such as heat stress, cold stress, fatigue, illness, caffeine consumption, poor dietary intake, and other physical or work-related conditions.

How much Sqwincher should you drink?

The amount of Sqwincher to consume varies depending on factors such as physical condition, age, gender, medical preconditions, and more. Thirst is not always an accurate indicator of the need to replenish body fluids. Industry studies suggest that in very hot, fatiguing situations, or strenuous work tasks, a person should consume 4 to 5 Sqwincher products a day. You can find more information here.

Is Sqwincher gluten-free?

Yes, Sqwincher is gluten-free. This is important because gluten is a protein complex found in wheat and can cause adverse reactions in individuals with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. By being gluten-free, Sqwincher offers a hydration option that is suitable for individuals with gluten sensitivities, allowing them to stay properly hydrated without compromising their dietary needs.

Is Sqwincher caffeine-free?

Yes, Sqwincher is caffeine-free. This is important because caffeine is a diuretic that can contribute to dehydration. By being caffeine-free, Sqwincher helps ensure optimal hydration without the potential negative effects of caffeine on fluid balance in the body.

Can diabetics drink Sqwincher?

SQWINCHER Frequently Asked Questions - Pryme Australia

Every diabetic’s condition is different, so it is essential for diabetics to consult their physician for guidelines on sugar and carbohydrate intake. Sqwincher ZERO* was specifically developed to address the dietary needs of diabetics and those watching their carb intake. Sqwincher ZERO products are sugar-free and calorie-free, using Sucralose as a sweetener base. Nutritional content information is provided on all Sqwincher packages. We encourage individuals with health concerns, including diabetics, to consult a qualified physician to determine if Sqwincher is recommended for them.

What are the available flavours of Sqwincher products?

Sqwincher offers a variety of flavours, including Orange, Lemonade, Lemon Lime, Cool Citrus, Fruit Punch, Grape, Cherry, Mixed Berry, Wild Berry, Dragon Fruit, Watermelon, and Tropical Cooler. Don’t ask us to choose a favourite flavour. Variety is essential to aid in hydration, when the taste is tailored to the users’ individual needs, increasing enjoyment in the Sqwincher product promotes better consumption.

How do I store Sqwincher products?

It is recommended to store Sqwincher products in cool dry areas with low light to maintain their quality. Avoid exposing the products to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight. To ensure the best taste and experience, it is advisable to consume Sqwincher products before the indicated “Best Used By” date.

My Sqwincher Qwik Stik has hardened, what should I do?

Sqwincher Qwik Stiks are a powdered product, powders are hygroscopic, meaning they attract and hold water molecules, which when absorbed can make the powder go hard. We recommend they be stored in a cool, dry environment, out of sunlight as they can sweat inside the packet. If stored outside of these conditions the powder may go hard, if this happens they are still fine to use they just need to be squeezed and broken up inside the sachets before being mixed in with water.

Are there any age restrictions for consuming Sqwincher?

Sqwincher does not have specific age restrictions. However, it is always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or paediatrician for guidance on the appropriate consumption for individuals of different ages.

Can Sqwincher be used by athletes during sports activities?

Yes, Sqwincher can be used by athletes during sports activities to replenish electrolytes and stay hydrated. It provides essential minerals and helps maintain fluid balance in the body.

Should I consult my Doctor before consuming Sqwincher?

Absolutely. Sqwincher is a safe product but it is advised that pregnant women and anyone with a medical condition should seek the advice of a Physician as to what limits they can consume.

Are Safety Data Sheets available for Sqwincher products?

The complete Sqwincher range is categorised as a food product, as such they don’t require a Safety Data Sheet, according to the Model WHS Regulations from SafeWork Australia. However, we do have Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) available on request.
