Green Square, Brisbane – Leighton Properties and Leighton Construction – completed 2007
The Green Square Development is an environmentally focused project, and one of the largest mixed use corporate office parks in Brisbane since 1990. It was developed by Leighton Properties for Brisbane City Council as part of its Urban Renewal Plan.
Completed in less than two years, Green Square is a 2 hectare site, occupying more than 40,000m2 of A-Grade office space over two tower buildings, with high tech utility and community facilities, gymnasium and a residential precinct.
Pryme achieved 6 day floor cycles on a 2,400m2 typical floor. We used Pryme vertical lifting systems, modular floor systems, jump lift, and Pryme safety screens.
Green Square has achieved a 4.5 star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (ABGR) energy rating and a 5-star Green Star rating under the Greenhouse Building Council of Australia (GBCA) scheme. This was achieved through Environmentally Sustainable Development initiatives integrated into the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the buildings.
