With a goal of ZERO lost time injuries (LTIs), Pryme’s first consideration is maintaining the highest
standardsof workplace safety at all times. Safety is non-negotiable; our employees know this.

The rule, "Stop. Think. Is it Safe?" is entrenched in mind and action.

Stop – evaluate safety risks before starting.

Think – what do I need to do to be safe?

Is it safe? – decide if it is ok to proceed, or change the plan.

By reinforcing positive attitudes to safety in all our methodologies we help ensure the welfare of our employees, everyone on site and the immediate public. We know what we have to do to create and maintain a safe workplace and we each accept responsibility for our own and our workmates’ safety. Health and safety leadership is mandatory for every managerial and supervisory position. Right from induction employees are trained to thoroughly understand work processes in order to identify potential hazards and safely manage any associated risk.

Our safety management team proactively leads our safety program through regular and open communication. Safe practices and procedures are consistently reinforced and reviewed on the job and in toolbox meetings.

We are continuously auditing internally and externally with accredited workplace health and safety consultants, striving to reach the hardest goal, perfection in safety management. This is backed up in our Work Methods Statement and Risk Assessment procedures.

Every employee is involved in the decision making process through regular consultation; they are actively encouraged to give regular feedback.

Pryme Pty Ltd complies with local legislation, safety standards and other industry requirements and is certified in accordance with AS/NZS 4801 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
