Green Square

The Green Square Project is the largest mixed use Corporate Office Park developed in Brisbane over the last 15 years. Green Square has been designed to accommodate over 40,000m2 of A-Grade Commercial office space, High Tech Utility facilities, community facilities, a child care centre and a residential precinct. These buildings will surround a retail plaza providing food outlets and services for staff and visitors.

Green Square is a significant step forward in Brisbane City Council's ongoing implementation of its Urban Renewal Plan.

The $80m Green Square South Tower includes approximately 17,000m2 of office space over five levels, 360m2 of retail space with adjacent plaza area and two levels of basement car parking. There is also an integrated fitout of 13,200m2 being undertaken for Brisbane City Council. Construction commenced in January 2006 and will be completed in August 2007.

Green Square South Tower is the first commercial building in Queensland to be awarded a Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. Achieving its Five Star Green Star Rating for Office Design in July 2006 was a significant milestone for the project.

Works commenced on the $100m North Tower in late 2006. The North Tower is also targeting a Five Star Green Star rating and will include approximately 23,000m2 of office space over twelve levels, 600m2 of retail space with adjacent plaza area and two levels of basement car parking.
